For all of our installations with Suit Direct, we produce a comprehensive technical and visual pack, guiding each project from initial concept through to handover of a fully completed retail space.
The process begins with a collaborative meeting with the client, as their input is essential in maximising the use of the proposed space and achieving key goals such as SKU capacity, layout efficiency, and long-term accessibility.
Once the initial concept is developed, it is submitted to the relevant centre management or retail design manager. We work closely with them to ensure the design meets all necessary guidelines and brand standards. Upon approval, the project progresses into the technical design stage, where the concept is translated into fully detailed technical drawings that inform and guide the installation.
Following completion of the works, we provide an As Built pack which includes any on-site amendments that were made during installation. This is shared with both the client and the retail design team for their records.
Our Project Managers are involved from the very beginning of each project with Suit Direct, working alongside the client to gain a comprehensive understanding of the scheme before the delivery phase begins.
They are responsible for preparing and submitting all required health and safety documentation to relevant parties, ensuring full compliance and smooth progression to the installation stage.
Once on site, our Project Managers takes the lead in coordinating all stakeholders — including the client, subcontractors, local authorities, and centre management — to ensure the project runs efficiently and to programme. Regular site meetings are held, and weekly progress updates are provided to the client.
Upon completion, the Project Manager collates and submits all necessary documentation relating to the works — including as-built records, certifications, and sign-offs — to the client and any required institutions.
Installations for Suit Direct vary in both size and complexity, but typically run for 5 to 12 weeks on site. The schedule of works is dependent on the condition of the unit and may include full dilapidation works such as the strip-out of the previous tenant’s fit-out prior to beginning the new installation.
Each installation is managed day-to-day by an on-site Bobblehat Site Manager who coordinates all subcontractors. The process is overseen by the Project Manager, ensuring quality, programme, and safety compliance throughout.
Weekly site meetings are held with subcontractors to monitor progress, address any issues, and keep the project aligned with the agreed schedule.
Upon completion, the Project Manager conducts a full walkthrough with both the client and the retail/design manager to confirm satisfaction with the works. Any fixtures or systems requiring user instruction will be demonstrated during this handover phase, ensuring a smooth transition to operational use.
We’ve provided a complete end-to-end service — from initial site surveys through to technical design, production, and installation.
