Our Global Rollout of Fanatics Megastores Across Eight Formula 1 Events.
In 2018, after a competitive tender process, we were awarded the contract to design, project-manage, produce, and install the Fanatics megastores across eight countries. Our work spanned the UK, France, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Italy, and Abu Dhabi.
The main challenge we faced was the complex logistics due to tight event timings. With some events only a week apart, we coordinated the production of two sets of retail kits to be transported and installed simultaneously, supported by two dedicated 20-man installation crews on the move across multiple locations.
Despite the challenging timeline and logistics, our team rose to the occasion, ensuring that each store was delivered on time and to the high standard expected from Fanatics. The success of this global rollout not only demonstrated our capability to handle large-scale international projects but also highlighted our expertise in logistics management and tight deadlines.

Firstly, we designed a new retail concept for the Fanatics megastores. Once the design was agreed upon, our Technical team prepared a comprehensive and detailed pack that included 2D Layouts, Elevations, and Production Drawings of all the bespoke joinery, signage and metalwork. Each megastore's size was slightly different, so we had to provide a different layouts for each event.

When the design and technical drawing pack were approved, we then started the manufacturing. An extensive order of bespoke components included metal fixtures, cabinets, counters, signage, glazing and graphics. As some events were back to back, two sets of kits were produced to ensure we could meet the extremely tight deadlines.

We had a skilled team of 20 that carried out the installations and de-rigs. Our Project Managers handled all the logistics and handed over each store on installation completion. They were also in close contact with the Fanatics management team throughout the project, providing regular updates and ensuring all key milestones were met.

Our other sporting event projects include pop-up stores at The NFL, The NBA, The European Tour, The Masters, The 6 Nations and The Laver Cup.
